Emily Clugston

As owner and president of Seniors Servicing Company, Emily is honored to help others navigate the daily complexities of healthcare insurance coverage. She provides our clients and their families with compassionate guidance, clarity, and the reassurance that they'll receive their entitled benefits without overpaying for services.   

For Emily, championing for others is more than a career; it’s her calling. Growing up she helped care and advocate for her siblings with special needs. In doing so, Emily quickly learned that everyone deserves someone in their corner and that everyone, no matter their circumstance, can share light and love with the world around them. Emily brings those beliefs to life in every aspect of our work at SSC. Her passion for advocating for others shines through in all we do.   

After earning her bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Services from Wright State University, Emily began her career managing two group homes for individuals with disabilities. She then spent several years as a recruiter on the East Coast, including leading a start-up recruiting firm as a founding partner, before transitioning back to healthcare. For nearly ten years, Emily worked in the non-medical home care and hospice field. When she had the opportunity to lead Seniors Servicing Company in 2017, Emily was thrilled to be able to combine her professional experience with her heart for service and advocacy. In addition to leading the company, Emily oversees strategic growth and case management, ensuring our clients receive the most out of their healthcare coverage.    

Emily's deep faith guides her life and inspires her extensive commitment to serving others. As an active member of her church, she continually reflects her strong Christian values through both personal devotion and meaningful community involvement.  

Beyond the business, Emily serves on the Board of Directors for Christian Children's Home of Ohio, an organization close to her heart.  She is also a member of the Columbus Northern Lions Club and was honored as a Lions Clubs International Melvin Jones Fellow in 2022 in recognition for her service and dedication. Her passion for the Ronald McDonald House Charities stems from her family's own experience receiving their invaluable support during a difficult time. Emily serves meals throughout the year and actively collects pop tabs (encouraging everyone she knows to join in) to help fund their vital mission.  

Previously, she co-facilitated the Adult Children Alzheimer’s Association Support Group for five years, served on the board for the Parkinson’s Foundation’s Moving Day Columbus for seven years, and contributed several years to the Upper Arlington Commission on Aging. Through all these roles, Emily's faith remains the foundation of her tireless service to those in need.

Emily values spending quality time with her family and friends, savoring the simple joys of home life - reading, baking and milling her own flour. She resides just north of Columbus with her husband, sister and pup.
