As owner and president of Seniors Servicing Company, Emily is honored to be helping people navigate the complexities of healthcare insurance coverage, providing them and their families with peace of mind knowing they'll receive their entitled medical benefits and not overpay for services. Her heart for serving others was planted by her parents. With a background in ministry, her parents also served as foster and adoptive parents to her nine siblings, eight who have disabilities, and worked hard to make everyone feel welcomed and loved in their home.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Services from
Wright State University, Emily began her career managing two group homes for individuals with disabilities. She then spent several years as a recruiter on the East Coast, including leading a start-up recruiting firm as a founding partner, before transitioning back to healthcare. For nearly ten years, Emily worked in the non-medical home care and hospice field.
When she had the opportunity to lead Seniors Servicing Company in 2017, Emily was thrilled to be able to combine her professional experience with her heart for service and advocacy. In addition to leading the company, Emily oversees strategic growth and case management, ensuring our clients receive the most out of their healthcare coverage.
Beyond the business, Emily is an active member and past president of the Columbus Northern Lions Club and on the board of the Upper Arlington Commission on Aging. She also served as the co-facilitator of the Adult Children Alzheimer’s Association Support Group for 5 years and was on the board for the Parkinson’s Foundation’s Moving Day Columbus for 7 years. Emily is an active member of the Clintonville community where she resides with her husband, J.D., and cat, Bailey.
